Welcome to Right Foot Performance Products, Inc.!
Congratulations to Lowell Bennett and his crew for winning the 2014 WIR Super Late Model Championship. The points battle came down to the last race of the season but the teams’ hard work and determination during the season paid off. Lowell and his Right Foot “Ultra” Chassis won four features at the track during the season plus had a number of podium finishes & heat wins.
As the diameter of spline bars has increased and with some racers using more bar pre load, we have had reports of sway bar adjuster side plates bending. We now have heavy duty side plates available for 1.75” and 2.0” adjusters. The side plates have additional material around the inside diameter and are made from high strength steel.
Also available are shims to fit between the adjuster side plates and the adjuster’s steel arm. The shims can be installed to prevent the side plates from binding on the adjuster. The shims are cut from 22G stainless steel and are 1.75” tall.
Part Numbers are:
1.75” HD Side Plate – 2709-1
20.” HD Side Plate- 2796-1
1.75” Tall Shim- 2709-SHIM
We are working on HD Side Plates & Shims for our smaller adjusters.
For the second year in a row a Madman Chassis equipped with a Right Foot 3 stage torq link and bird cages won the $10,000 @ 141/Clash At The Creek. Mike Mullen won the $10K feature against a stout field of locals & travelers, including Kenny Wallace. Congrats to Mike!
Last Thursday night at WIR was a great night for Right Foot. Lowell Bennett started out the night by winning the Dash. Then in the feature Mark Schroeder captured a well-deserved win with his Right Foot chassis. Lowell Bennett almost made it a Right Foot 1-2 but got beat by Dalton Zehr at the finish line & ended up 3rd.
Todd Shute captured two more IMCA wins over the weekend. One win at the Iowa State and the other at Hamilton City (Iowa). Todd and his Victory chassis are taking grabbing checkered flags using our new 5675 Lock Up Torque Link.
We’ve been so busy we’ve fallen behind on our updates. This is old news, but we still want to get it out there.
Congratulations to Lowell Bennett for winning Slingers’ Alan Kulwicki Memorial Race. Lowell took the lead on lap 10 and had Steve Apel (in his new Pathfinder hound him for 50 laps). Steve got in front a number of times but Lowell was always able to recapture the lead. Both drivers raced each other cleanly and put on a great show for the spectators.
Lowell was driving his brand new Right Foot Ultra Chassis with a Wegner LS engine. The car is loaded with Right Foot components including upper and lower control arms, bump stops, fabricated sway bar arms, AC/DC system and trailing arm brackets.
